The GBC Golf Academy at Olympic View is home to one of B.C.’s most successful and fastest growing Junior Programs. In 2008 we advanced our Junior Program to the next level with the launch of the GBC Junior Academy. The most significant change to the program was the implementation of a multi-level lesson program designed to take junior golfers from beginner through the right steps to achieve success at an advanced level. Students will learn and be tested in a variety of skill areas progressing through a series of six levels. With their enrollment in the GBC Junior Academy, each student will receive a GBC Golf Academy bag tag used to identify their achieved skill level.

Our Junior Camps run during the Summer months, Monday to Thursday, and offer two hours of instruction each day in the morning or afternoon. A manual is included and of course, lots of fun in a safe environment. Students are grouped according to age and skill level to ensure a rewarding experience for all. Golfers get unlimited practice balls and golf clubs are provided if required.

This program is an ideal away way to for kids ages 4-6 to start the game. These 40 minute sessions are filled with fun games and basic instruction in a safe environment. The S.N.A.G. Golf system is used to introduce these future stars to the game. Classes are four week sessions on Saturdays from 2:00 pm - 2:40 pm

The focus of the beginner classes will be to introduce students to the basic fundamentals grip, stance and the basic swing. Classes run for 4 weeks on Mondays.
Level 1 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm
Level 2 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Graduates of Beginner Two move up to intermediate Classes and further develop their skills. Classes run for 4 weeks on Tuesdays.

Level 2 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Graduates of Intermediate Two progress to the advanced Class. These classes will refine their skills further and introduce competitive play. Classes run for 4 weeks. Contact a GBC Golf Instructor for details & dates.

This program is designed for juniors who are actively competing in tournaments. This program features private and group instruction with the focus on, mental preparation, short game improvement, full swing, golf fitness, skill tracking and proper practice habits. This program is designed for serious students, and also includes a clothing and equipment package, including: 

Each month the program offers 9 hole practice tournaments, private and group sessions. Program runs from April - August & Includes:
